Wine estate in Alsace
It is with pleasure that we welcome you to our wine estate near Obernai in Bas-Rhin. We are located precisely in Bernardswiller , on the Wine Route, at the foot of Mont Sainte-Odile. Obernai is the second most visited tourist town in Bas-Rhin, after Strasbourg.
After a brief professional career different from that of wine, we decided to take up the torch of the family business in 1990. A logical approach, since our two families have worked for several generations to run it.
The Pfister family launched the marketing of bottled wine in 1974. The sale then took place within the family home itself. Then, as the premises became too cramped, we built new buildings at the entrance to the village. This allows us to work in better conditions, and the sale is now made in our tasting cellar.
In order to expand our clientele, we have also participated in wine and gastronomy fairs since 1995.
Little by little, we expanded our production area. Currently, we are working on a space allowing us to produce all seven Alsatian grape varieties. Our vines are spread all around the village, but they stretch beyond the municipal ban, towards Ottrott, Saint-Nabor, Goxwiller and Obernai, the closest neighboring towns.
The grapes ripen in the sunny foothills of Mont Sainte-Odile before undergoing traditional vinification, inherited from family know-how.
We are pleased to present to you our Alsace wines and crémants, from our vineyard. Faithful to the tradition of Alsatian viticulture and family winemaking, our wines are worthy of being on your table and deserve your full trust.
